This was carried on the Cunarder Arabia, departing New York Oct. 14 and arriving Liverpool Oct. 25.

V (24) and 12c Black (36), all three stamps slightly overlapping and tied by magenta grids, bold black "Hartford Ct. Mar. 26, 1859" circular datestamp on large part of 1859 printed "Election Returns, 1859" cover to Bethlem Conn., somewhat reduced at left, piece out at bottom right of cover and some other edge wear, Very Fine, an exceedingly rare and late use of the 5c 1856 imperforate issue, our extensive census records of the 5c 1856 Issue contain more than 350 covers, of these, ten originate in the state of Connecticut, a total of four of these ten were used on election returns in 1859, each in combination with the perforated issue, with 2001 P.F. certificate
