Substantial old-time collection of mostly used stamps in two Scott albums, many better numbers including 9X1, 1 (two), 2 (two), 12, 17, 18, 28A, 37-38, 67, 72, 83, 85B, E and F Grills complete less 90c, 112-121 with extra 30c, Bank Note Grills including No. 144 (P.F. certificate), other Bank Notes essentially complete, Columbians less the $3.00 and $5.00 ($4.00 unused), 1894-98 Bureaus mostly complete (no $5.00), Trans-Mississippi complete, 1902 through the $2.00, Washington-Franklins to $5.00 less the better items, 1922 and later begins to show more unused, Back-of-Book including original gum C1-C6, Special Delivery complete, range of Postage Dues and Officials, Post Office Dept. card proofs, smattering of Newspapers with four different large-format issues, Carrier reprint No. LO6, range of cut squares, unused Confederate States and forgeries, etc., mixed condition with faults to be expected on the early issues, overall a Fine appearing and useful collection with lots of better stamps, compiled by an avid collector over a period of more than 50 years

Old-time collection in a 1926 Scott National album, mix of used and unused stamps hinged onto the pages, highlights include Nos. 1, 17, 30A, 67, 71-72, 100, 1869 Pictorial Issue complete including what appears to be an unused 90c (partially stuck down), range of Bank Notes to 90c, Columbians complete unused through the $4.00, with all the dollar values stuck down, early Bureaus to $2.00, Trans-Mississippi unused to $1.00 (which is faulty), range of Washington-Franklins mostly unused, some back-of-book as well, this is a very old-time collection so condition is mixed to rough on some of the better stamps, still useful material and some appear Fine

Housed in a single Scott album, wide range with many better stamps, early issues nearly all used including 1847 Nos. 1-2, 1851-57 Nos. 12, 17, 28-29, 30A, 39, 1861-68 largely complete including Nos. 67, 72, 75, 83, E and F Grills largely complete, 1869 Pictorials complete, a few genuine Bank Note grills, nearly all unused beginning with the 1887-93 issues which are complete, Columbians complete with $2.00, $3.00 and $5.00 original gum (all dollar values with P.S.E. certificates), 1894-95 Bureaus with some of the dollar values used, Trans-Mississippi complete with original gum, 1902 Issue complete with 15c-$5.00 used, Washington-Franklins including a few genuine coils, Panama-Pacific complete, later issues largely complete with White Plains sheet, Air Post including Graf Zeppelin C13-C15, Parcel Post complete and some Postage Dues, mixed condition on the 19th Century with varying degrees of problems to be expected on the better stamps, overall Fine appearing collection with substantial retail value, Scott Retail in excess of $50,000.00
