Tremendous 6-Figure Catalogue Value Holding of Plate Blocks. Over 150 plate no. blocks (a few are plate no. strips), starts with the Trans-Mississippi issue and goes to about 1938, plus Back-of-Book, most cataloguing at least hundreds of dollars each, a large number over $1,000.00, early Commemoratives, 1902 Regular Issue to 13c, many Washington-Franklins, including elusive items such as Nos. 461 and 500, first two Air Post issues, high cataloguing Special Deliveries, Offices in China, Guam, and more, also seven plate number strips of ten of No. 213, there is some duplication (often on the better plate blocks), some Mint N.H., somewhat mixed quality though a good amount is Fine-Very Fine, a substantial lot, we would not be surprised if the total catalogue value approached $200,000.00

In seven binders, commemoratives go to 1930, regular issues to 1979, starts with the 1890 Small Banknotes (including top plate block of No. 221) and several Bureau Issues (some of these are represented by plate strips), Columbians include plate blocks to 4c and 10c strip of four, useful later commemoratives including Louisiana Purchase complete in plate blocks of four, nice range of Washington-Franklins, including 1c and 2c Bluish Paper, and a run of later regular issues, Air Post includes C1-C6 and C18, other Back-of-Book, loaded with items cataloguing hundreds of dollars each, and some over $1,000.00, mixed condition, some of the early blocks or strips with small faults or hinge reinforcing, generally Fine-Very Fine, the total catalogue value is substantial
