Clearly printed impression at bottom right corner of The Boston Weekly News-Letter dated July 8, 1756, interesting news content including list of those killed and missing at Fort Bigham during French and Indian War, newspaper with some slight wear but remarkably complete, Very Fine impression of this scarce early typographed revenue issue, one of the finest impressions we have ever encountered

Act of January 8, 1755, in effect May 1, 1755, to April 30, 1757, beautiful bold strike at the bottom right corner of a Boston Evening Post newspaper dated August 23, 1756, interesting contents including letter published regarding William Shirley's recall to England (Shirley was governor of Massachusetts Bay and became commander in chief of North America after Braddock's death), also news reports from around the world, some edge flaws barely affect the stamp, Very Fine strike of this scarce early typographed revenue

Sale 1145, Lot 775, Revenues-1/2p Red, Colonial Revenue (RM1). Act of January 8, 1755, in effect May 1, 1755, to April 30, 1757, beautiful bold strike at the bottom right corner of a Boston Evening Post newspaper dated Oct. 4, 1756, several stories including one relating to the French and Indian War (1754-63), about a group of soldiers ambushed by Indians near Lake George, top right of masthead torn off and some edge flaws at right and light staining at left which do not affect the printing or the revenue stamp, an Extremely Fine strike of this scarce early typographed revenue, Power Search lists only one other (ex Tolman) and it is not as strong a strike

Act of January 8, 1755, in effect May 1, 1755, to April 30, 1757, stamped (full strike but somewhat indistinct) at the bottom right corner of a Boston Evening Post newspaper dated April 11, 1757, 19 days before the last day this issue was valid, virtually the entire front page deals with man killing man in war with obvious references to the French and Indian War (1754-63), some expert restoration, professionally matted and framed with photocopies of the other pages of the newspaper mounted on the back
