Multiple consisting of a vertical pair plus half of another pair of the U.S. essay at bottom with a block of four of the One-centime Napoleon French stamp at top, very choice condition for this fragile paper, Very Fine and probably unique in this format and color, according to an article in the Essay-Proof Journal, Lowenberg was also trying to secure a contract to sell his process to the French government, and this may have been integral to his attempt, we have encountered one other, in Brown with a One-centime French stamp design (ex "Lake Shore"), only four or five are recorded in total

Consisting of vertical strip of four of the U.S. stamp with margin showing three adjoining stamps at left, at right is a vertical strip of four plus single to the right of the French 1c Napoleon design, usual defects associated with this fragile paper, otherwise Very Fine, probably unique, accompanied by Essay-Proof Journal article describing this essay, Lowenberg was also trying to secure a contract to sell his process to the French government, and this may have been integral to his attempt
