F was cutting them off from Franklin their cavalry and artillery ran off leaving a brigade of infantry which was captured. The results of this capture were about 2,100 prisoners...", some cover edge toning, otherwise Very Fine, fascinating contents regarding action at Franklin and Spring Hill Tenn.

Most of the Union men in that state are Lincolnites & she is going to give us a great deal of trouble unless an overwhelming force is soon thrown into that State..."
