Institute, Marietta Ga.", interesting content related to conscription laws and use of Georgia Military Institute cadets in fighting to come, cover with overall toning, Very Fine letter, Linton A. Stephens was the son of Alexander Stephens' half-brother John L. Stephens, Alexander also had a half-brother named Linton with whom he had a well-known and voluminous correspondence

Sept. 25" ms. pmk. on cover sent by Linton Stephens to Alexander Stephens with 1862 receipt docketing on back (missing backflap), last is post-war cover addressed to Alexander Stephens at Crawfordville, few small faults, a Fine-Very Fine and interesting group

Some faults, though P.O.W. cover is immaculate and Very Fine, very interesting lot
