Top impression, plate 2, pos. 1, cancelled on small piece by manuscript blue crayon "N 20 MY 16" circular datestamp of Northend, showing variety three brackets in frame at bottom, piece of stamp overlapping at right, Very Fine and rare, a total of 96 examples were printed with 29 remainders destroyed (unknown if any included top impressions), only one top impression sheet of 24 was printed, Gibbs records only five used examples (which incl. a cover in the National Postal Museum) with this as the unique example with the three brackets variety in Black, ex "Mountrobeck", SG £1,300 with no premium as top impression (SG doesn't distinguish between the two types) or variety
