Sale 764, Lot 1369, The Skove Collection of Cleveland, OhioBishop's City Post, 2c Black on Bluish Laid, Carrier (10LB2). Margins to slightly in, light pen and pencil cancel and trace of red handstamp at bottom, few tiny bleached specks, about Fine. One of the great carrier rarities; this was Caspary's only example of the Bishop's 2c and at the time of the Caspary sale it was affixed to a stampless folded letter (see CPM book, p. 110, notes re May 10 cover) to which it did not belong; subsequently removed and placed in the Skove collection. Probably fewer than a half dozen examples of this stamp are extant
