2176 C 2c Brown Red (8). Three large margins, in at T., affixed upside down and tied by "Richmond Va. Oct. 13" cds on locally addressed cover, missing backflap, tear at T. of cover, still a Fine drop letter usage, with 1982 C.S.A. certificate $ 450

May 20" cds on brown cover to Newberry S.C., Extremely Fine, choice and rare cover, only two "TEN" covers are recorded from Columbia -- it is probable that this issue was never regularly supplied to Columbia, but some stamps were used on mail by people passing thru -- ex Caspary (Image) $ 1,700
