x 4 in., translation reads in part "I am taking advantage of a small
balloon which is due to leave today to tell you that I am perfectly well
and that I wasn't wounded in any way.", date difficult to read, but
appears to be "16 7bre 1870" (Garrison's Papillon), no postmarks, fresh and
Very Fine, scarce mail flown by balloon during the siege of Metz |
