VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ILLUSTRATED COVER BEARING THE $2.00 COLUMBIAN ISSUE, CANCELLED ON THE LAST DAY OF THE COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION.

The recipient, who may also have been the sender, was the son of a well-known Episcopal minister in Chicago. Curiously, according to The New York Times, the recipient was arrested a few years later, on April 10, 1895, on charges of assault with a deadly weapon while intoxicated.
