Despatch Agent B. F. Stevens to Cadiz, Spain, originally mailed with 3c
Blue Green (207) tied by duplex, purple B. F. Stevens handstamp, Charing
Cross datestamp, 2c slightly affected from placement near edge, Very Fine,
the Navy Dept. was only required to supply the 2c difference between the 3c
domestic and 5c UPU rates when the letter was forwarded overseas, a
fascinating and very rare usage (Image) |
