**2-Cent Black Jack Issue (Trial Color Proofs)**

1005	TC	2c Red Brown, Large Die Trial Color Proof on India (73TC1). Die sunk on 50 x 60mm card, No. 1030 and imprint at bottom, fresh and bright color, wonderful impression VERY FINE AND CHOICE. AN EXTREMELY RARE RED BROWN TRIAL COLOR LARGE DIE PROOF OF THE BLACK JACK. Of the large die trial color proofs, no more than two examples of each color have been recorded. All known examples show the "star on cheek" die flaw. The rarity of these large die trial color proofs is further demonstrated by the fact that none was contained in either the Allen, Brazer or Rorke collection.
