EXTREMELY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 ONE-CENT TYPE II IMPERFORATE, FEATURING A HUGE SHEET MARGIN AND INTENSE COLOR. MINT NEVER-HINGED STAMPS OF THE CLASSIC ERA ARE EXCEEDINGLY RARE.

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT 1851 ORANGE BROWN. A REMARKABLE CLASSIC STAMP IN PERFECT CONDITION.

We doubt that more than a handful of this issue exists in Extremely Fine Gem Mint Never-Hinged condition. This stamp is a true condition rarity and possibly the finest extant.

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A RARE AND SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM 12-CENT 1851 ISSUE WITH PROOF-LIKE IMPRESSION, SHOWING EVERY MINUTE DETAIL OF THE LATHEWORK ENGRAVING THAT DISTINGUISHES TOPPAN, CARPENTER'S WORK IN SECURITY PRINTING.

The 12c issue was printed from a plate that provided little space between stamps. Copies such as this one with extra wide margins are rare, especially in sound original-gum condition.
