The Philatelic Foundation has certified only four singles, one pair (now split) and one block of four as genuine. The other block has a straight edge at right and slight thinning.

(544). Barely hinged (if at all), deep rich color on remarkably fresh
paper, centered to rightFINE AND EXTREMELY RARE. APPROXIMATELY 30 UNUSED EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.
A small quantity of 1c Rotary Press stamps was perforated 11 at the end of 1922, using remainder sheets from the earlier printings that were normally perforated in 10 gauge or 11/10 compound gauge. Its existence as a Perf 11 variety was discovered in 1936, and the stamp received its Scott catalogue listing in 1938.

(544). Light circular datestamp, remarkably well-centered for this
notoriously challenging issue, fresh and bright colorEXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THIS MAJOR 20TH CENTURY RARITY.
Most of the recorded copies of Scott 544 are off-center or have been damaged as a result of lower production standards and poor handling.

10 on Left Side (546a). Top margin block of eight with hollow star,
both stamps at left the variety, brilliant color, small h.r.FINE-VERY FINE. THE UNIQUE TOP SHEET-MARGIN BLOCK CONTAINING TWO EXAMPLES OF THE 2-CENT 1921 ROTARY PRINTING PERFORATED 10 ON THE LEFT SIDE. A REMARKABLE SHOWPIECE.
Our records of Scott 546a contain this unique unused block, another block containing two examples of the error (which we believe has since been broken into two strips of four), and one used single, for a total of four unused and one used. We believe that the strip of four in our records (ex Grunin and Schilling) comes from a block mentioned in a 1956 letter from C. B. Durland to Eugene Costales.
The block offered here is important, as it identifies the location on the sheet where the error occurred. With 1967 P.F. certificate and accompanied by letter from C. B. Durland (a previous owner of this block) to Eugene Costales. Scott Retail as two unused singles. We are unaware of the basis for the existing Scott Catalogue value. (Image)
