"Decatur" in care of U.S. Consul at Panama, endorsed "Via California" and rated "Paid 20", light toning across left side, some slight edgewear, otherwise Fine, extremely rare usage from Utah Territory to Panama, the combination of manuscript and handstamped Camp Floyd markings is very unusual, and the difference in dates suggests that the letter was held for more than two months until a westward transit was arranged (Image) E. 1,000-1,500 625.00
