While it is not unusual to fly from here to New York, yesterday was the first day the government officially started any airplane mail service, and if you live to be a man and have any children they may read of this event in their histories. The boy scouts helped to deliver the mail that arrived at Washington yesterday and I understand they did very good work. Love to all. Father. P.S.
