VERY FINE AND RARE MIXED FRANKING OF A UNITED STATES GRILLED ISSUE AND A DANISH WEST INDIES SECOND ISSUE.

The red "Pd. 10c" at top left indicates that the 10c United States postage was paid in cash by the sender at Christiansted. The U.S. stamp was presumably affixed in transit at the St. Thomas post office. (Image)
