EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE $6.00 1875 CONTINENTAL REGULAR NEWSPAPER ISSUE. THIS IS ONE OF THE SCARCEST NEWSPAPER STAMPS TO FIND IN SOUND, CENTERED, ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.

Sound, original gum and centered examples of high-denomination Newspaper stamps printed by the Continental Bank Note Co. are incredibly rare. A search of several collections containing superb offerings of Newspaper stamps, such as Lutwak, Cole, Lyons, Floyd and Lessin, has failed to find its equal.
