Original gum, clear grill and with perfs surprisingly intact for this
stamp, pretty pastel colorVERY FINE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1867 3-CENT A GRILL.
Due to the fact that the grilling machine covered the entire area of the stamp, the perforations on the A Grills were usually damaged during separation. The example offered here, with perforations mostly intact, is a rare exception. (Image)
