bright paper, choice centering, small horizontal crease at top right, light
horizontal crease ending in a tiny sealed tear at rightEXTREMELY FINE GEM APPEARANCE. A RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1862 ISSUE IN THE RED BROWN COLOR. A STAMP OF PHENOMENAL COLOR AND BEAUTY.
This stamp should be considered rare in original-gum condition. Its attributes -- superb centering and incredibly vibrant color -- far outweigh the relatively minor flaws.
