the left strike is dated June 29, other two strikes dated June 30, on small
cover to Paris, France, strip also tied by "New York Paid 12 June
22" credit datestamp and French transit, receiving backstamp, two stamps
barely affected from placement near edge of cover, Very Fine and unusual
usage, the use of five 3c stamps is uncommon as is the apparent confusion
in Washington D.C. as to the date, ex Brown

nigger-stealers. We will soon be ready to bury them like hogs. This is for
your private pipe" (sealed splits along folds) -- the sender has added
seven state abbreviations below the flag "N.C., Mo., Ky., Va., Md.,
