FRESH AND VERY FINE COVER. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE USAGE OF THE 5-CENT RED BROWN ON A PATRIOTIC COVER TO EUROPE. FROM THE ANGELL CORRESPONDENCE.

Multiples of the 5c Red Brown are very scarce, and only three or four strips of three are known on patriotic covers. This cover was from the other part of the Angell correspondence that was not sold to Katherine Matthies. (Image)
