bold "Due 3" straightline on shoe thread manufacturer's
advertising cover to Scotland, matching "Andover Ms. Feb. 11, 1862"
circular datestamp, red "Boston Br. Pkt. 19 Paid Feb. 11" circular
datestamp, cover neatly repaired at top affecting only the datestamp, the
24c stamp is Extremely Fine and noteworthy for cancel as well as for
condition, with 1999 P.F. certificate

England, bold "Marblehead Mass. May 20, 1862" double-circle datestamp,
cover has been decorated and sealed by selvage from a sheet of Great
Britain 1p Red, Boston and London transits tie, selvage additionally
used on backflaps, horizontal file fold passes between stamps but does not
crease or separate them, bottom stamp with small margin tear, Very Fine,
extremely rare and unusual use of a Steel Blue pair

Sweden, neat red "Aachen Franco" handstamp ties three stamps, magenta
ms. credit, New York and Hamburg transit backstamps, one 3c tiny crease at
