Bold strike of provisional handstamp on obsolete United States 3c Star Die entire, small pen marks cancel design which is also cancelled by "Talbotton Ga. Jul. 29, 1861" double-circle datestamp, to Cotton Valley Ala., some slight overall wear, Very Fine and scarce usage, only eight examples are reported in Crown (Image) 750.00

Jul. 17" oval datestamp on 3c Pink entire (U34) with printed frank, to San Francisco, embossing slightly affected by light bend caused by thickness of contents (not included), some edge wear including small scotch tape repair at lower left, otherwise Very Fine and scarce usage (Image) 4,000.00
