black "The Central Overland California & Pikes Peak Express Company Dec. 11

two 1c Blue, Ty. V (24) and 3c Dull Red (26), each stamp cancelled

England", bold "3" credit handstamp, London transit and receiving
backstamp, left 10c stamp defective corner, otherwise Very Fine and

overlapping and tied by two neat penstrokes, also tied by light strike of

England, blue "Chicago Am. Pkt. Sep. 27 42" debit datestamp and
matching "Insufficiently Prepaid" handstamp, Newport Packet circular
datestamp and Liverpool backstamp, ms. "2/" shillings due marking, one 10c
and one 1c stamp defective, otherwise Fine, an unusual usage treated as
completely unpaid by the Chicago exchange office
