ultramarine Havre transit and French backstamps, few nibbed perfsA VERY FINE AND RARE INDEPENDENT STATE USE OF UNITED STATES STAMPS FROM LOUISIANA. Louisiana seceded from the Union on January 26, 1861, and was admitted into the Confederacy on February 4.
