Brown, 20c Gray Blue (19, 20b, Sassone 19, 20b). Each has large
margins, tied by two strikes of blue "Firenze 25 Feb. 60" circular
datestamp on folded letter to Perugia, matching "PD" in oval, receiving
backstamp, light horizontal file fold clear of stamps and markings,
Extremely Fine and choice, an attractive franking, signed in pencil (Image) |

(20a, Sassone 20a). Horizontal strip of three, large margins to clear,
rich color, two neat strikes of Firenze datestamp, faint horizontal crease
visible only in fluid, otherwise Extremely Fine, an exceedingly scarce
strip, ex Stockinger, Sassone L5,500,000 as a strip of three, L1,125,000 as
three used singles, Scott Retail as three singles

used singles, one with Firenze cds, two used from Livorno, last with
five-bar handstamp, each a slightly different shade, all have clear to
large margins, few small imperfections, all appear Very Fine, an
interesting group, Sassone L2,100,000 as the least expensive shades |
