EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR CONFEDERATE VALENTINE COVERS EXTANT, POSTMARKED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA POST OFFICE.

There were only five Valentine's Days during the Civil War, and the adverse conditions in the South made elaborate Valentines and stationery scarce. Only a handful of this quality have survived. (Image)
