VERY FINE. ONE OF THE LARGEST RECORDED ON-COVER MULTIPLES OF THE 15-CENT F GRILL AND AN IMPRESSIVE 1869 MIXED-ISSUE FRANKING.

Only two covers in the 1961 Harmer, Rooke sale of the Portchester find were franked with strips of four of the 15c F. Grill. This is the better-centered of the two strips. (Image)
