EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT E GRILL.

Our search of numerous major name sales containing 1867-68 grilled issues (Caspary, Lilly, Grunin, etc.) yielded only a couple that compare favorably, and we were quite surprised that several collections lacked even an average copy with gum.
