Full margins to just touching at left, pencil "X" cancel, used with 3c Dull Red (26), slightly scissors-trimmed perfs and oxidized, both stamps tied by "Baltimore Md." circular datestamp on small Jul. 1859 cover to Morgantown Va., pencil docketing, Very Fine, ex Middendorf E. 200-300
  114 Baltimore Md., 1c Red (1LB7). Full even margins, tied by pencil cancel, used with 3c Rose, Ty. I (25), tied by bold blue "Baltimore Md. May 9, 1859" circular datestamp on cover to New York, with original enclosure, slight toning along top, otherwise Very Fine, rare and unlisted combination with 3c Type I perforated E. 150-200
  115 Baltimore Md., 1c Dark Red (1LB7). Large margins except at bottom right where just in, dark shade, pencil cancel, used with vertical pair of 3c Dull Red (26), s.e. at left and bottom, both stamps tied by blue "Baltimore Md. Feb. 17" circular datestamp on yellow cover to Belair Md., slightly reduced at top, faint gum stains around stamps, Fine, ex Middendorf E. 200-300
  116 Baltimore Md., 1c Blue, Red, Substitute Cliche (1LB6 var, 1LB7 var). Both from Position 2, identified by blunted lower left corner and defect in upper part of right frameline, Blue stamp off cover, full to large margins, corner creases, 1c Red with corner margins and full margins other sides, ms. cancel, used with 3c Dull Red (11) tied by grid and "Baltimore Md. Aug. 25" circular datestamp on brown cover to Greentree Pa., Very Fine and scarce, ex Kelly E. 200-300

Position 9, part of Position 1 shows in left margin, evidence of the work-and-turn printing method, other margins large to huge, pencil cancel (not tied), used on buff cover to local address, Extremely Fine, note on back dates cover to 1894 Scott Stamp & Coin sale E. 150-200

Jul. 2" (1859) circular datestamp on buff cover to Commissioner of Pensions, Washington D.C., large double-line receiving datestamp, slightly reduced at top, otherwise Very Fine, ex Hessel E. 200-300
  119 Baltimore Md., 1c Red (1LB7). Bottom sheet margin, full at top and clear at sides, pencil "X", "Baltimore Md. Jun. 17" circular datestamp on manila cover to Commissioner of Pensions, Washington D.C., large double-line circular receiving datestamp ties stamp, right edge torn and reduced at top, otherwise Fine, unusual usage, ex Hessel E. 100-150

  122 Baltimore Md., 1c Red (1LB7). Large margins all around, tied by pencil on folded local cover, May 10, 1860 docketing, Very Fine, ex Hessel E. 150-200
  123 Baltimore Md., 1c Dark Red (1LB7). Unusually deep shade, fine impression, ample to large margins except touched at right, ms. cancel (not tied), blue "Baltimore Md. Feb. 20" circular datestamp and "5" rate handstamp on turned cover to Sandy Springs, inside has blue "Paid 1ct." in circle to local Baltimore address, Very Fine, ex Avery (his cost code on back) and Hind E. 200-300
  124 Baltimore Md., 1c Red (1LB7). Full margins all around, rich color, neat ms. cancel (not tied), used on Oct. 21, 1858 folded printed notice, Very Fine, ex Worthington, Caspary E. 150-200
  125 Baltimore Md., 1c Dark Red (1LB7). Two, different and distinctive shades, each with large margins to touching, one has sheet margin, pencil cancel or uncancelled on separate local covers, Fine pair E. 200-300
  126 Baltimore Md., 1856-63 "Eye" Issue, Balance of Covers. 12 stamps on separate covers, including 3 Blue and 9 Red (plus additional Red off cover), 2 of Blue and 5 of Red used with 3c Dull Red (26), a sixth Red on 3c entire, others used alone, some cancelled, a few tied, several better plate varieties, condition mixed and faults to be expected, still a Fine group, several ex Kelly, Scott value for tied examples only is $2,000.00 E. 750-1,000
