dated Sep. 8, at lower left is a contemporary ms. note in proprietor
Goodwin's hand, explaining "Probably put in the box of the wrong Meyer.
Then returned to the P.O. the second day thereafter", three folds in
entire, otherwise Fine, notations were made on covers during the Penny
Post's litigation against the Post Office Department -- examples of P.O.D.
