VERY FINE. A RARE GROUP OF ROOSEVELT SMALL DIE PROOFS.

Scott catalogue classifies these as 40P2/47P2. However, at least some of these (definitely the 5c, 10c and 12c) were created from the original dies that produced Scott Nos. 12, 13 and 17. The distinctive marks from the original large die proofs are present on these small dies. However, until Scott reclassifies these we must offer them as the Reprints (Image)
