one stamp has tiny thin speckEXTREMELY FINE. BLOCKS OF THE 24-CENT 1860 ARE CONSIDERABLY RARER USED THAN UNUSED. THIS PERFECTLY-CENTERED BLOCK IS PROBABLY THE FINEST EXTANT. With pencil note on back from Stanley Ashbrook: "This block is guaranteed to be genuine and sound. Used blocks of four of this stamp are very rare.
